Had a brilliant stay here while riding the Pennine Bridleway. the whole guesthouse is lovely and the rooms extremely comfortable. The village facilities as mentioned by others are great, particularly pleased with the food and service at the pub next door! We arrived absolutely sodden and made a right mess in the drying area but Dave was nothing but professional and amicable. I definitely want to come back and stay for longer!
Paid my first visit just yesterday and we have found a hidden gem. The host, Emily gave a very warm welcome. The whole set up is simply beautiful and extremely peaceful and comfortable. We definitely will not be going elsewhere. We have booked again already and the cost is very reasonable. 11 out of 10 for sure.
We had a lovely stay in a big, comfortable room in this quiet & pretty location. The breakfast in the next door tea shop was great & all the staff we met were friendly, warm & helpful. Well recommended!

Stayed in the family room with friends whilst visiting the area. Comfortable beds, clean, good breakfast (in tea shop next door, which also does great afternoon tea), friendly owner and good communal area downstairs. Very good value for money. Would definitely stay again if in the area.
Really clean rooms, comfy beds and modern clean bathrooms. Decent TVs and amenities in the rooms. More than I expected. In a beautiful location. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others looking for something different to a premier inn.
Owner Dave very accommodating - call five mins before arriving and he will meet you there. Great drying facilities for soggy cyclists! Very comfortable room. Excellent breakfast at tea shop next door. Great beer at Crooked Billet pub
The perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quiet, well presented B&B. Quality facilities right next door to the local friendly cafe for breakfast or lunch. Right in the centre of a very friendly village with easy access to local activities. Great value for money too.
